Brandee Diner
Brandee holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and both undergraduate and master’s degrees in science (Wildlife Biology), from McGill University. She spent the first 10 years of her career running a small international business, working with local tailors and artisans in several Asian countries before shifting her focus to natural resource sciences. Brandee has been teaching in the Environmental and Wildlife Management program at Vanier College since 2007 and has been the Program Coordinator since 2012. Her graduate work focused on plant-herbivore interactions, and she currently spends much of her field season working with songbirds in Eastern Canada. Brandee has worked on wildlife projects in Canada, the U.S, Australia, Belize, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, South Africa and Namibia. She started a field course in Belize for Vanier College students and initiated several internship agreements with NGOs overseas for her students. She is passionate about international education and works tirelessly to ensure that her students are exposed to opportunities that get them out of their comfort zones and into the unfamiliar, where they are able to exchange, learn and grow in a global context.
Jessica Lang
Jess holds a Bachelor of Science degree (McGill University) and a Master of Science degree (University of Manitoba), both in biology. Her graduate work examined the impacts of red fox (Vulpes vulpes) denning on plant communities and tree growth near the Arctic treeline in northern Canada. In 2022, she became an accredited Associate Wildlife Biologist® with The Wildlife Society. Although her academic background is broad and diverse, her research interests are primarily focused on the ecology of terrestrial mammals, including community dynamics, plant-herbivore interactions, trophic ecology, and conservation. She currently works as a full-time teacher in the Environmental and Wildlife Management Program at Vanier College (Montréal, Québec) where she instructs a variety of field-based courses related to mammal management, fisheries management, limnology, and student research projects. With several years of field and research experience, her greatest passions are empowering students in environmental fields and advancing research that respects cultural perspectives, strengthens conservation efforts, and deepens our understanding of wildlife and ecosystems.

Our Story
This is some dummy copy. You’re not really supposed to read this dummy copy, it is just a place holder for people who need some type to visualize what the actual copy might look like if it were real content.
If you want to read, I might suggest a good book, perhaps Hemingway or Melville. That’s why they call it, the dummy copy. This, of course, is not the real copy for this entry. Rest assured, the words will expand the concept. With clarity. Conviction. And a little wit.
